S Curl: New Formula

The new formula of S Curl has officially reached my local hair and beauty store.

Old Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Acetamide MEA, Ceteth-20, Olealkonium Chloride, Stearalkonium Chloride, Panthenol (Provitamin B5), Simethicone, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance.

New Ingredients:
Deionized Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Argan Oil, Olive Oil, Acetamide MEA, Ceteth-20, Oleakonium Chloride, Stearalkonium Chloride, Panthenol, Simethicone, DMDM Hydantoin, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Limonene, Coumarin, Alpha-Isomethyl lonone.

In short, they've removed the parabens and added oils and more silicones. S Curl is one of those products that I accept doesn't have the best ingredients, purely because it works so well for my hair. Believe me when I say, S Curl has been my saving grace throughout my transition. Luckily for me, my hair hasn't noticed a significant different .. hurrah hurrah!!! Although, I have noticed that my relaxed ends are weighed down more so than before, I guess I can attribute this to the oils. If there's one thing I don't like, it's the new fragrance!! I just don't appreciate the smell. It smells like cheap perfume and to make it worse, it lingers. When I next go to the store, I'm going to check if they have the old ingredients in the next size up. Fingers crossed. Have you tried the new formula? What are your thoughts on the new fragrance?
