Curls, Coils and Kinks...

I'm really starting to fall in love with my curls, coils and kinks. At the beginning of my transition, I was really anxious about what my hair type would be... Now I think I'm more excited than anxious. Whether my hair is 3c, 4a, 4b, 4c or even 4z, I'll love it regardless because it's mine. Currently I'm still aiming for the 22 month mark, to cut off my relaxed ends... that will be my 22nd birthday, 13 more months to go :D. I know I've previously spoke about being tempted to cut off my relaxed ends earlier, but after watching youtube videos, I have been re-inspired to reach my original goal. Progress remains steady *clears throat*. I have pretty much kept the same regimen as I did when I was on a relaxed journey, and use pretty much the same products. Wave Nouveau and JBCO are my R.O.D's (ride or dies), I doubt I would have made it this far without them! If you read my review on Bee MIne Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer, you know what happens when I get adventurous  -_____- loool. I still haven't made up my mind on the other Bee Mine products that I purchased, I'll update you soon.

9 months post relaxer

 I am officially 9 months post relaxer :D. Despite the "occasional" bad hair days -_____-, I am still loving the journey. I love the fact that from certain angles, I look natural already *grins*.  My biggest advice for anyone on a hair journey is, do what works for your hair! Over the past months, I have learnt what does, and what does not work for my hair. From experience, I know that butters and creams 95% of the time, do not work for me. I don't care if someone on youtube, with hair down to their toenails, says that butters are the secret to growing long hair.... I will not go out and purchase butters. If it's not broken, don't fix it!!!

Verdict: I really wanted to love this stuff! I really did but, It dried my hair out so badly. My hair was dry like the Sahara!!! My hair was breaking like a dancer!!! My hair is hating me for using this. The situation was so bad that I had to co-wash! Yes, I said co-wash! It's been over a week since I used it and I'm still babying my hair. I can confidently say that, I won't be using this again!!!! I'm just thankful that I was cautious enough to buy a sample size.
